Cook on Clay pots are handmade on Whidbey Island, about an hour north of Seattle including a short ferry ride. We have lived and produced our work here for 15 years. Whidbey Island is an inspiring place for artists and visitors alike. You really must visit – the summers are cool and sunny with sea breezes. Autumn produces a delightful show of foliage, the winters are quiet and cozy. Springtime is many shades of green and bright flowers.

We'd love for you to visit our showroom! Allow us introduce you to our pots and select your new pot in person and save on shipping fees -- or we'll ship it if your suitcase is full! Take a peek into Robbie's studio to see how our clay cookware is designed and made.

We're open most days. Just please give us a quick call ahead of time to schedule-360-678-1414 or 360-929-8121.

Stay for a day or two on Whidbey Island. Our best recommendation is to take a self-guided tour of the many artists on Whidbey with open studios. Here are some of our other favorite recommendations:

Things to do:

1. Penn Cove Mussel Festival

2. Clamming, Crabbing and Fishing on Whidbey Island

Places to eat:

1. The Oystercatcher- Obviously, one of our favorites. We dine there often, not just because they feature so many Cook on Clay dishes. We love the oysters and wine list, too. Everything we've had there is wonderful.

2. Orchard Kitchen

There are many lovely inns and B+B’s.

1. Captain Whidbey Inn

2. The Coupeville Inn

Our favorite spots to take in nature:

1. Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve

2. Admiralty Head Lighthouse

3. Hiking on Whidbey Island

You can also checkout what's happening during your visit, and the Whidbey Island page is really helpful.
