Flameware Clay + Glaze Materials

Cook on Clay's recipes for our clay body and glazes are formulated from non-toxic earth materials (no lead or mercury). Our pots are fired to 2450 degrees Fahrenheit over a period of 25 - 30 hours. All materials are rendered inert (chemically inactive) during the firing process and remain non-toxic throughout the life of the pot.
